Trip to Granada & Friday inspiration: Sachi & Yuka(Kokusyoku Sumire)

Hello everybody!!

I'm going to Granada this weekend, and I'll be back on tuesday/wenesday, so I won't not be updating until that day, but I promise I'll answer the comments of this entry and the entry before... and everything!! I'll take lots of pictures! :D

Today I feel a little weird. I mean, it's my last day of work at my office, and I feel like something is ending and something new begins... but well, I'll think about it quitely when I come back next week!

Yesterday I was listening to the japan lolita duo Kokusyoku Sumire. I love Sachi & Yuka, they're so lovely and funny. You can visit Sachi's blog here, and yuka's blog here.

Yesterday I saw this lovely little cape at Innocent World, and I'm thinking about make one by myself. I've got a very similar fabric in black and it can be really cute!

Yesterday I found some shoes at home that I didn't remember about, and after post about Julie Andrews, I felt a bit Mary Poppins, so I dared to wear them. They're pretty old and I love them!

Tomorrow it would be the last day at work, as I'm moving to Barcelona I quit my job and see what I find there. Tomorrow, too, I'm going to Granada, the city where I studied Psychology and I hope to make many photos just for showing them to you, is a beautiful city.

Quick post: Julie Andrews

One of my favourite actress is Julie Andrews... Don't you think she's gorgeous? I simply love her since I was a child... I've been a very big fan of Mary Poppins (I've got a lovely pair of boots that are similar to the ones she was using at that film), and I really love her play in Victor/Victoria... and, of course, I know all the songs of The Sound of Music... and love Torn Curtain... and the funny Thoroughly Modern Millie...

And a little inspiration from other times ... Lately, I've been missing a time that never lived ...

Have a nice day!

Sahakiel and the Inglorious Basterds

Hi everyone! How's your weekend going? I hope that everything is ok with you all!

Well, I know, so... first of all... tadaaaaaaaa!

So, finally, I did it! Me with my new hair, hehe! I really like it, more than blonde!

On Friday I went to the cinema just for watching "Inglorious Basterds", by Quentin Tarantino. I must say that I really enjoy the film; the story was quite funny; and I LOVE the aesthetics of the film, the clothes that the women were wearing was wonderful: hats, headpieces, shoes, suits ... I was really excited every time I saw one of them.

Yes, I really loved the character of Mélanie Laurent; she was my favourite!

And of course, we took a picture doing the dumb...

And yesterday night, I went out with my cousin Rocío and some friends; we had a lovely time. Rocío is moving to Berlind next weekend for a year... I hope I could go visit her throughout the year!

T-shirt - Stradivarius Jacket - Pull&Bear Skirt - Vintage Tights - Zara Boots - Mustang Hairband - Primark

And today, Sunday, I went with my mother to an antique market in Sabinillas, but there were few interesting things. I bought a pair of spoons thinking of Laia from Let me feel like a doll; to see if I do something with them for us! our obsession are gonna kill us, sweetheart!

What did you do this weekend?

Quick post: mesh veil.

Yesterday I spent the whole day listening to Simon & Garfunkel, so today I woke up nostalgic wondering where is a mesh veil that belonged to my grandmother and my mother has somewhere around.

I love this sort of accessories, I think it gave him an air of mystery to the 50 women who carried ... so elegant, distinguished, sophisticated ... The trouble today is that if you put something like that, people look at you funny ... but thank goodness I hear you have not stupid criticism of others!

Also, since I've started to see Gossip Girl (more excited about the clothes that take you by the script) I feel quite retro ...

This afternoon I will try to upload photos with my new hair colour... until then, take a good Friday!

It's raining today!

Today I woke up early in the morning and it was raining very hard in my town. I love when it rains, it makes me feel in a good sense of humour!

Now that the rainy season approaches, I have to buy some rubber boots to avoid getting wet feet ... I love walking when it rains!

This week I've been busy, despite finishing my contract next week, this week I have to work in the afternoon ... I need a rest!

On Monday I came to work dressed as:

Cardigan - Mango
Skirt - Promod
Tights - Calzedonia
Shoes - Pull&Bear
Bag - Shirley Temple

And tomorrow, before going to the movies, I go to the salon to change my hair colour. Maintain the blond requires go often to the hairdresser, and have not had time, so I'll switch to a copper colour, more or less like that of Florence.

So tomorrow, finally, I'll see "Inglorious Basterds"; and next week at Granada... (500) days of Summer!

Have a nice day!

I had a present.

Hi everybody!

How are you going this weekend? Mine is still fairly tranquil, including house cleaning and make some crafts.

I did not mention the other day, but on Thursday I received a gift. All summer I have been treating an adolescent guy with behavioral problems, and Thursday was our last session. When finished, he and his mother gave me this beautiful box with a pretty necklace. I must say I was pretty excited, I did not expect!

The truth is that it was a nice touch!

Indeed, on Thursday night I had a flash of lighting and I modified an old denim skirt that I wore. It was long and somewhat boring, so I cut, I put a few pins, I made a bow and wrote in French, "Lila Says", the name of a movie that I like. This was the result:

T-shirt - Zara
Skirt - Greencoast modified
Red tights - Calzedonia
Socks - Oysho
Pumps - Mustang
Hairbow - claire's
Belt - Offbrand

And on Friday night we were in the cinema watching the latest film by Isabel Coixet, "Map of the Sounds of Tokyo". The film itself is beautiful and makes spectacular sound processing, you can listen to the actors chew.

Then we went to have a few pints of beer at the brewery "El Cairo".

And of course, I had a small picture on the carousel of cinema.

Punk Lolita rocks!
Tiger Army T-shirt - Bought at Sziget
Skirt - Putumayo
Tighs - Calzedonia
Cardigan - Blanco
Shoes - Tao Bao
Scarf (on my head) - Vintage

I hope that your weekend is still fun!

Friday's inspiration: Hannah Murray & Kaya Scodelario.

It's quite fun because as Laia posted yesterday about Lula Magazine, I was looking for this lovely photoshoot of Hannah Murray from Lula's March issue.

Isn't she lovely? I mean, I love Hannah Murray since I met her Cassie character at the UK Skins series; she was my favourite female character... and what a lovely style she had! Is very fresh and original, mixing colours, accessories ... is undoubtedly one of the things that makes Cassie a charming character: her style.

I think that why I fell in love with this character was the ease and accuracy with which the writers dealt with her problems, especially related to eating disorders. I've always been very interested in that area and was the first time I saw something as reliable.

From Skins' the second generation of girls, my favourite is Effy, I find her very human, full of layers that are gradually being discovered. Furthermore, Kaya Scodelario is a beautiful girl and I like her style very much.

Effy's style is more hard rock, but I think that the writers have created Effy's pose to hide all its shortcomings, which gradually we discover in the series.

Yesterday, Primark opened a store right next to my house. I was looking around, but there were so many people that I did not buy anything; I'll try to go quietly because I saw some socks that I liked very much!

And tonight I hope I could go to the cinema with my friends... it's been a hard week!

By the way, this is what I was wearing on Wednesday:

I've called it "Dandy of the Suburbs", hahaha!

T-shirt - Zara
Vest - Mango
Pants - Stradivarius
Socks - Putumayo
Boots - Mustang
Hat - claire's

Have a nice Friday!
