During our trip around The Netherlands, we could walk around Zaanse Schans, a beautiful outdoor museum where actually some people live and in which you can see different types of windmills.
Durante nuestro viaje por Holanda pudimos visitar Zaanse Schans, un precioso museo al aire libre habitado donde se pueden ver y visitar diferentes tipos de molinos.
At Zaanse Schans you can visit different types of windmills, from sawmills to oiler mills. We enter into De Kat (The Cat), which is the only working dye mill around the world.
En Zaanse Schans podéis visitar diferentes tipos de molinos, desde aserraderos a aceiteros. El que nosotros visitamos se llama De Kat (El Gato), el cual es el único molino de pigmentos activo en todo el mundo.
Of course, we also visited the Wooden Shoe Shop there, where you can find lots of wooden shoes in almost every colour and size. I tried a pair, but I don't think they're my type of shoes!
Por supuesto, también visitamos la tienda de zuecos, donde puedes encontrar un montón de zuecos de madera en casi cualquier tamaño o color. Me probé un par, ¡pero creo que no son mi tipo de zapatos!
Such a wonderful day in a beautiful place... If you ever come to Noord-Holland looking for windmills and their history, this is the place to be!
Un día estupendo en un lugar precioso... Si venís a Holanda buscando molinos y su historia, éste es el lugar a visitar.
